Welcome from the Associate Headteacher

Welcome to Claycots Primary School (Town Hall Campus)

We are a family school with a genuinely happy and friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves on the unfailing courtesy and love for learning of our pupils and the fact that we know that when they move on to Year 7 they will be armed with a mature attitude, a sense of achievement and an excellent ‘all round’ education.

Our LIVE values resonate throughout the school and give us direction and focus in all that we do.

We

L  Love Learning and Lead Learning

I   Investigate and Innovate

V  Value each other and our community

E  strive for Excellence through Expectation

All pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, enabling them to relate to their peers and adults in a natural and unassuming way. An emphasis is placed on caring for others, manners and courtesy. Each pupil is encouraged 'have a go' at things with a positive attitude and each pupil is proud of their achievements.

We look forward to welcoming you into our school – visits are welcome.

We are delighted to welcome Anne Higginbotham who joins us as associate Headteacher in September 2017.  Anne is currently headteacher at a primary school in Reading and will bring a wealth of experience, vision and enthusiasm to our family.
